This helps to increase your revenue and work upon your online presence. 97 % of guests use social media to share pictures of their trips on social media. Most of the guests, around 88 %, are usually millennials and thus social credibility of your brand matters. Here we are with few tips Hoteliers can use for various Social Media Handles. Please note that there are many such platforms and here are only the prominent ones. 1. FACEBOOK i. Create your business profile on Facebook and add all the details. Add Profile Photo, Cover Photo and complete the description such as category, address, phone number etc. Photo Cover and Cover Photo draws all the attention. Make sure it is the one. Always use hashtags for your posts. Use both super popular such as #likeforlike and less popular such as #hotels to get the maximum and relevant attention. Do not forget to put the link of your website in the bio. v. Ask your guests to tag you in their posts and stories. You can always run some contests or reward points to encourage the guests.

3. YOUTUBE i. YouTube is the best platform to post videos. You can post in motion videos of your Hotel. ii. Video Tour of your Hotel with al the amenities or video testimonials of your guests, time lapse videos or local attractions can be posted. iii. You should use Google Keyword Planner to rank your videos on google. To work on the rank, add detailed descriptions, links to your website, use hashtags etc.

4. TWITTER i. Twitter’s popularity is growing at very fast pace. You can always tweet about latest deals or products. ii. Since the tweets can only be around 140 characters, write in the most engaging form.

SOME TIPS TO WORK UPON SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING STRATEGIES: 1. Influencers can do wonders. Contact them and ask them to promote your brand. Offer them amazing deals in return. 2. Always engage with your customers in comment sections. Don’t leave them unattended. 3. Take care of your reviews be it on Trip Advisor or your social media page. Always apologize for any inconvenience caused. 4. Be consistent in posting and at the same time avoid the temptation to post too much. 5. Interlink your social media pages. 6.
